The Dublin South East Branch of Cuidiú (Irish Childbirth Trust) run a parent/toddler group, in St. Paul’s parish centre, every Wednesday morning from 10.00 to 12.00.  There’s a baby and a toddler area, lots of toys, a library, and singing (the wheels on the bus etc), towards the end of the morning.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are also available.  It’s the perfect environment to relax and chat with other mums/dads, while your children play.   You don’t have to be a member to attend the group - it’s open to everyone.  In addition to the toddler group, Cuidiú offer a range of services and courses.  The aim of Cuidiú is to provide education and support for parenthood and this is achieved in multiple ways.  Locally, there are fully trained breastfeeding counsellors, parent supporters, ante-natal and post-natal representatives, talks, discussions, social evenings, training courses and seasonal parties, to name just a few!  Why not visit our website at www.cuidiu-ict.ie for more information or email kathok@gofree.indigo.ie
