Thursday 15th October
St Paul
’s Branch hosted the MU Area Meeting for the South-Eastern Area.
The Speaker, Canon Adrian Empey, told us of the varied work of the
Mission
to Seafarers in
Dublin
Port.
All present agreed it was a
most interesting evening. We
were pleased to welcome members from Kill o’the Grange, Monkstown, Kilternan
and Stillorgan parishes.
Well
done to Eileen Hall who has to date knitted 216 blankets for premature babies.
The
National
Maternity
Hospital
,
Holles Street
, were delighted to receive these beautifully made blankets.
Mother’s
Union Tea Party for Senior Citizens in the Parish will be held on Thursday
12th November. We
hope this will be as successful as the previous one held in May last.
Our
next Branch Meeting will be Thursday 19th November at
8pm
. The subject is Jewellery
Making.
St. Paul
’s Branch Advent Service
will be on Thursday 10th
December at
8pm
in the Parish Centre.
