Five parishes worship together for Holy Week

Starting on Monday April 15th, five Church of Ireland parishes from this area will worship together on the evenings of Holy Week at 8 pm, rotating through the different churches. From Monday to Wednesday, the speaker at these joint services will be Philip McKinley, chaplain of Dublin City University. Meanwhile, each morning in St Paul’s, there will be a daily Holy Communion service at 7.15 am Monday to Thursday and “One Hour at the Cross” at 2pm on Good Friday.
 Here is the full schedule, with all services in St Paul’s unless otherwise indicated:
Monday, April 15th:
7.15 am Holy Communion
8 pm St. Matthias Church Killiney/Ballybrack
Tuesday, April 16th:
7.15 am Holy Communion
8 pm Holy Trinity, Killiney
Wednesday, April 17th:
7.15 am and 11 am Holy Communion
8 pm Christ Church, Dun Laoghaire
Thursday, April 18th:
7.15 am Holy Communion
8 pm St. Patrick’s Church, Dalkey
Good Friday, April 19th:
2 pm One Hour at the Cross: a service of hymns, readings, reflection, prayer and silence
8pm The Liturgy of Good Friday, St Paul’s, Glenageary

Easter Day celebrations on April 21st
SonRise Service: At the Obelisk, Killiney Hill at 6.15 am. Light breakfast afterwards in Carry Hall, Killiney Hill Road.  All are welcome. Kindly note: dog owners are kindly requested to keep their pet on a leash at all times
In St Paul’s: Holy Communion 8.15 am; Parish Communion 10.30 am followed by an egg hunt in the church grounds. No evening service.
