Come celebrate the arrival of Advent….

People of all ages are invited to attend the lighting of the first candle on the advent wreath at the 10.30am service on the First Sunday of Advent, November 30th. There will also be a gift for each young person to help with their preparations for Christmas. After the service, the Badminton Club will be serving coffee and goodies in aid of the Blackrock Hospice and all donations would be much appreciated.
Meanwhile…. does the thought of Christmas stir a slight sense of panic? You’re invited to  join us for an Advent Quiet Morning, on Saturday, November 29th, from 10 am-noon in the Parish Centre. There will be reflection on Advent themes as well as space for quiet prayer and discussion. We’ll even have some live harp music. If you would like to attend please contact Abigail,  a.sines@mac.com or 083 454 8519.
