Outdoor service and family barbecue on August 28th
All are invited to our now traditional outdoor service in the grounds of the church, on Sunday, August 28th, followed by a family barbecue, to mark the end of the summer holidays. Please note the later starting time of 12 noon for the service and it will go ahead regardless of the weather, even if it means we have to retreat into the Parish Centre – but we’ve been lucky so far!
There will also be an opportunity to register your child for Sunday Club (ages 4-12) which will begin again on Sunday September 11th.
Outdoor service marks start of post-summer parish events
On August 28th our annual Outdoor Service, at the later time of 12 noon, followed by a family barbecue, will mark the end of the summer holidays. There will also be registration for Sunday Club that day for children aged four to 12. Other key dates between now and the end of the year include:

Guitar and organ duo give recital this Thursday lunchtime
The Thursday Lunchtime series in St Paul’s this week, June 23rd, will feature Guitar and Organ Music with The Mandeville Duo. Coffee/tea served from 1pm; recital starts at 1.15pm. Admission free and retiring collection, if desired, to the St Paul’s Organ Fund.

Talk on India in lunchtime series
Parishoner Professor Roger West of Trinity College Dublin will give a talk entitled “At Home in India” at the Summer Lunchtimes in St Paul’s series this Thursday, June 16th. It will be both a photographic and anecdotal portrait of how to feel comfortable in such a different country.
Coffee/tea served from 1pm; talk starts at 1.15pm. Admission free and retiring collection, if desired, to the St Paul’s Organ Fund.

Rathdown musicians to give free concert
Musicians from Rathdown Senior School will feature in the free St Paul’s Summer Lunchtime series this Thursday, June 9th. Performance starts at 1.15pm, coffee/tea from 1pm.
St Patrick’s Cathedral choristers to open our summer lunchtime series
The free weekly Summer Lunchtime at St Paul’s series starts this Thursday, June 2nd, with a concert by the choristers of St Patrick’s Cathedral (pictured below). The performance will begin at 1.15pm. with coffee/tea served from 1pm.
The series runs every Thursday through June and July. Volunteers are needed to help with coffee/tea and to welcome visitors to our church. If you are free to help on one or two Thursdays, please contact our director of music, Nathan Barrett at email barretna@tcd.ie or on 086 846 0658.
