In the wake of Easter, April and May are among the busiest months in the parish. Here are some key dates, in chronological order – get the diary out:
Sunday, April 19th: The choir of Glenageary Killiney National School will sing at the 10.30am All-Age Worship service.
Thursday April 23rd: Sit back and have a good laugh at the Film Night showing of What’s Up Doc?, starring Ryan O’Neal and Barbra Streisand, presented by Philip Molloy of Newstalk, 8pm in the Meeting Room of the Parish Centre. Booking: stpaulsdub@gmail.com. No charge but small donations welcome.
Sunday, May 3rd: Worship & Wedges in the Parish Centre, 6pm. A creative but informal form of worship for all ages, followed by light supper.
Thursday May 7th: The final Parish Whist of the season will take place in the Meeting Room of the Parish Centre at 8 pm. All are welcome.
Friday May 8th: Alzheimer’s Tea Day, Parish Centre, 10am-12.30pm. Donations of home baking and raffle prizes would be most welcome. Contact Diane 087 127 0342 or Nola 087 688 9845.
Saturday May 9th: Choral concert in St Paul’s featuring the choir and music from organists Nathan Barrett and Matthew Breen, 7.30pm, ahead of the choir’s trip to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Raphoe, Co Donegal the following weekend.
