Our 10.30am service next Sunday, November 12th, will include an Act of Remembrance for all those killed in wars. All welcome.
There will be a sale of Christmas cards in aid of the RNLI in the parish centre immediately after the service.

Our monthly series of all-age services resumes in the parish centre this Sunday, October 15th, at 5.30pm, followed by refreshments. All welcome.

All animals and humans are welcome at our annual Pets Service next Sunday, October 1st, when we give thanks for the companionship of animals. The speaker will be Deirdre Deverall, who will be accompanied by her assistance dog Bruno, and there will be a retiring collection for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

We had a splendid sunny morning for our annual outdoor service and barbecue on Sunday, September 3rd, as the parish family “regrouped” after the summer holidays.

Waterford city is the destination for the annual parish outing this Saturday, September 2nd. The bus departs from the church at 7.30am sharp. There are still a few spare places if anybody would like to join us. Please email stpaulsdub@gmail if you would,

Thank you to all who came to the piano recital by Yurii  Levkovych from Ukraine last Saturday evening, July 15th. His brilliant playing made it an evening to remember and €959 was raised for the charity SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine in the process.

A pianist from Ukraine, Yurii Levkovych, will give a recital in the church on  Saturday, July 15th, starting at 7pm. His  programme will include music by Bach, Schubert, Chopin and Liszt, as well as Ukrainian composer Skoryk and Rotaru from Moldova.  Thanks to the generosity of a St Paul’s parishioner, a grand piano has been hired for this recital. Admission is free but donations to the charity SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine would be much appreciated.

The death has taken place of long-time St Paul’s choir member Jenny Vella. Her funeral will take place in St Paul’s this Friday, July 14th, at 11am. See more details here

Members of St Paul’s choir will be providing holiday cover at the 11am Sung Eucharist in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin 8, next Sunday, July 2nd, under the direction of our music director Caroline Barnes.

A visiting choir, Samkór Reykjavíkur from Iceland, will give a concert in St Paul’s this Thursday, June 15th, at 8 pm. Free admission.  The choir will be singing some traditional Icelandic music as well as well-known tunes.
 Samkór Reykjavíkur was founded in March 1978 and has about 45 members.  They regularly go abroad to give concerts and appear in events, but also to bond the group and have fun. The conductor of Samkór Reykjavíkur is Arngerður María Árnadóttir.
