There will be 7.15am celebrations of  Holy Communion in St Paul’s from Monday to Thursday during Holy Week. In the evenings, we rotate around the churches of the “cluster” parishes. See below the full schedule of services:

SonRise A short, joyful, interchurch celebration of the Resurrection on Killiney Beach, near entrance to main car park, at 6.30 am (Please note change of location) More details to follow.  
8.15 am H.C. and 10.30 am Parish Communion, followed by an Easter egg hunt in the church grounds, weather permitting..  No service at 7 pm 

St Paul’s will be the venue for a concert of Ukrainian music on Saturday, March 25th, to raise funds for SOS Children’s Villages in Ukraine, a non-government organisation that works with children and  vulnerable families. Your support on the night would be much appreciated. The event is being organised by the Club of Singing Diplomats and Co, who staged the international carol concert in the church before Christmas. The date of our next Summer Fair, Saturday, May 27th, may seem a while away yet but we need people to come on board now. The job vacancies include:

• Stall helpers: couple of hours on the day and the week before the event.
• Raffle helpers
• General helpers to man gates, set up and dismantle stalls etc.
• Are you interested in Baking, Catering, Art, Reading, Fashion, Jewellery, Kids, Entertainment, Collectables, Bric a brac!  We need your passion and skill to help us on these stalls. 
• Strong bodies to put up tents and tidy away after the day.

We urgently need to add to our small group of volunteers who take turns to do the Sunday morning bell-ringing before the 10.30am service. Basically, if you can count from 1-8 and are able to climb a steep staircase, you’re qualified to be a bell ringer at St Paul’s! Please email stpaulsdub@gmail.com if you’re interested.

The first of our monthly all-age worship services in 2023 will be held in the parish centre this Sunday, January 15th, at 5.30pm. This will be followed by the serving of refreshments. All are welcome to this family-friendly, informal act of worship.
 Please take note of the dates of these 5.30pm services over the next few months: February 26th, March 26th and April 23rd.

Our former Rector, Archdeacon Gordon Linney, was invited back yesterday for the unveilling of The Linney Room in the Parish Centre, in thanks for the long ministry in the parish by both him and his late wife, Helen. His successor, the Rev Gary Dowd, said it was a fitting tribute by the Select Vestry in our thriving, purpose-built centre used by all the community, which was very much his predecessor’s vision and he fought hard to bring it about. Sitting in the church grounds, the centre took the place of the old parish hall further down Adelaide Road and was completed soon after the archdeacon’s retirement.

The official opening of the Linney Room will take place in the parish centre this Sunday, December 11th after the 10.30am morning service.  Our former rector, Archdeacon Gordon Linney, together with members of his family, will be present.  The Select Vestry decided that naming the meeting room in their honour would be a fitting and lasting recognition of the ministry of Gordon (pictured below) and Helen Linney in St Paul’s.  All are welcome to attend.

The countdown to Christmas starts this Sunday with an Advent Carol Service at 10.30am. Come and enjoy the seasonal music.
